EUROPEAN DEVELOPMENT PLAN

EUROPEAN DEVELOPMENT PLAN

In the academic year 2014-15, the CEIP MAX AUB, in an effort to renew and innovate our methodological lines, we introduced ourselves to the European eTwinning educational platform and began a joint work with other European institutions which included the formation of a team to follow up on various projects. During these 4 years we have coordinated or participated in 9 eTwinning projects and have carried out the performance of several Erasmus+ projects.

For all this work in the current school year we have achieved two great achievements:

-The award of "eTwinning Center" for the next two academic years.
- The granting of our application for an Erasmus+ KA1 project with the title:
"Challenge 2020: Internationalization and good educational practices".

In it we aim to strengthen the quality of teaching in our school by attending to the educational needs of our students as set out in the "Europe 2020 strategy".

This implies:

1- To respond to the challenges of the "Europe 2020 Strategy" in the field of Education, such as its support for teacher mobility and learning programs for the exchange of good educational practices.

2- Increased internationalization and European dimension of the centre.
3- Exchange of good practices and educational innovation in Language Teaching Methodologies to promote the implementation of the new law on multilingualism.
4- Attention to the diversity of pupils for greater equity and inclusion.

The intended impact is as follows:

1. In the participating organizations, the relations of the centre with other European institutions and centres are strengthened and consolidated, contributing to its internationalization. This may involve, in medium and long term, carrying out and participating in other activities and collaborative projects with these and other centres at a European level.

2. Teachers improve their skills in European languages and culture, acquiring knowledge of new language learning technologies and artistic and cultural teachings. This knowledge improves the quality of their teaching through the dissemination of activities to the rest of the teachers and staff.

3. Pupils benefit from the performance of more innovative and motivating methodologies for learning English and other related areas, which in the long term implies an improvement in the quality of teaching at the general level of the school.

4. The rest of the Educational Community and families are informed through the centre’s website and through information circulars.
